Beyond providing the employees with canned country information on the destination, what steps are taken to train an employee how to conduct themselves in
a new and ambiguous environment with the little cultural background?
PARM (Proactive Risk Management) equips travelling employees with the awareness of real-time threat behaviours in foreign countries by exposing them to the latest tactics and techniques of counterintelligence agents used around the world.
Powered by research-based behaviour profiling techniques, students will learn how to establish quick baselines of their environment and spot anomalous behaviour BEFORE it turns violent. Being armed with this knowledge and mindset allows an individual to not only identify threat behaviours but speed up their decision making when faced with a potential threat.
Once trained in the employment of these behaviour profiling techniques, the group is then guided by an expert small group facilitator in the deconstruction of the planning phases required to conduct these attacks. Students will construct and plan the phases of different threat profiles from the hostile actor’s point of view. Topics range from how to conduct specific target selection, pre-attack surveillance and the actual execution of the attack, which equips the students with the observable behaviour someone might give off when engaging in these acts. It is often said that the kidnapping begins when the target boards the plane to the destination and this training will show what those behaviours look like.
Whether it is someone trying to slip something into a drink or a full-blown kidnap and ransom operation, there are ALWAYS pre-event indicators. If someone is trained in how these behaviours manifest in real time, they can disrupt the event from ever happening.
